Channel Letters: 3D solutions

Channel letters are the sign industry's 3D letter. They get their name from their construction. A channel is constructed from a face by adding sides. Often the hollow is fitted with neon illumination and a colored, translucent plexi-glass face is placed over the front. The result is wired together and mounted on a storefront. These are the signs made up of individual letters that you see in strip malls.
Standard Channel Neon
Like every technique, channel letters can also be made to reach much greater heights of design. They can be open faced so the neon is visible for a 50's retro look. They can be reversed so they appear as large dimensional letters. If you snug neon behind these letters you have a dimensional letters that floats in a glow of light. (see below)
Reverse Channel Neon
Make sure when you buy channel letters they don't skimp on the neon. A brand new channel letter should be bright and even. We make our channel letters in house. Some are constructed for economy out of thin aluminum. Others are crafted from welded aluminum with a custom finish. All of them are constructed for each client.
